The Position

We are not selling trading courses.
We are developing professionals.

Most financial education sells confidence first and hopes competence follows. We build in the correct order.

FinLeap Academy delivers a published, two-volume curriculum through private executive mentorship. Our students are engineers, doctors, pilots, bankers and business owners — professionals who already hold themselves to standards in their own fields and expect the same rigour here.

No signals. No trading rooms. No promises of profit. A structured education in how markets actually work, and how disciplined participants operate within them.

The Method

Knowledge, then competence, then confidence.

Understanding precedes execution. A student who cannot explain why a market moves has no business attempting to trade it.

Knowledge

Understand market structure, participants, liquidity and behaviour before touching a single setup.

Competence

Apply frameworks under guidance until execution becomes repeatable and explainable.

Confidence

Confidence earned through demonstrated capability, not borrowed from someone else's conviction.

Consistency

Process that holds under pressure, reviewed and refined over a professional lifetime.

Institutional Foundations and Capital Intelligence, the two volumes of the FinLeap curriculum
The Curriculum

Two volumes. One published pathway.

Our curriculum is not improvised session by session. It is written, published and issued to every student.

  • Volume I — Institutional Foundations. Understanding the market: structure, liquidity, technical analysis, risk and psychology.
  • Volume II — Capital Intelligence. Executing in the market: Order Blocks, Candle Range Theory, Liquidity Velocity Engine and Opening Range Breakout.

Meet the Director

Izhar Zakaria, CFA

Successful trading isn't about finding the next opportunity — it's about becoming the person capable of making consistently disciplined decisions.

After a 20-year career with Singapore Airlines, Izhar transitioned into the financial industry in 2018 through the CFA Programme and CTA qualification. He has mentored aspiring traders since 2023, and founded FinLeap Academy to deliver financial education built on discipline and structured learning rather than shortcuts.

“Every professional trader begins by understanding the market before attempting to trade it.”
